Today is my sister-in-law's birthday and since I know she already got her card, I can post it now! =) I used one of the new Karen Burniston dies, the Katie Label Pivot Card. (Appropriate, don't you think?) I really like these dies because you can determine where on your card fold the label part will be cut. (Check out Karen's video explaining the pivot cards.) I had mine moved up towards the top of the card so I could fit the cupcake stamp (embossed in white powder) onto the front of the card.
Here is the inside:
As you can see I used lots of bright colors and the Tim Holtz Birthday Blueprint stamps to make an extra festive card! I like that the Katie Label die set comes with the matching label shapes so you can layer them up without buying an additional die set.
Don't forget about the March challenge, A Splash of Color, over at Inspiration Journal. Link up your project there and you could have a chance to win $50 to spend at Inspiration Emporium! There are some really great projects that people are submitting. Go get inspired! =)
