January Art with Heart Challenge – Fresh Ideas
Hello there everyone. Eileen Hull's January Art with Heart Challenge is up and running. We want to see your projects and you could win a new Vintage Kitchen 3-D Oven die! For my project I wanted to create something fresh and cheerful for a friend who is ill right now. I hope this will brighten up her room:
I used the Cookie Box die to make the container to hold the flowers. I cut it out of the Sizzles matboard which takes embossing and inking really well. I love building 3-D projects with that stuff! The flower centers are Gumdrops colored with alcohol ink (one single drop is all it takes). The sparkle is really nice on them, even when they have been colorized. Of course the Layered Butterfly makes a great backdrop and I liberally added Rock Candy Stickles to it for some subtle bling.
Check in at Eileen's blog each Tuesday to see what the Inspiration Team has been up to and grab some inspiration for yourself. See you over there!
Most of the supplies I used for this project can be found at Inspiration Emporium. Follow the links below and use my code JUICE to save 10% if you go shopping. I will also point out that US shipping is always $5 and international shipping is just $10. ;-)
