Well, nothing like waiting until the very end to get my Febuary tag done! I'm keeping with my theme of making the tag itself pretty close to Tim's version and then using the techniques to create a card. This month I decided to make a birthday card for my Mom. Her birthday is on March 17th so that opens up all sorts of fun St. Patrick's Day card themes. (Sorry for the card spoiler Mom, act surprised when you open it! ;-) )
There are some really interesting techniques that Tim shares for this month's tag. He has a different way of creating the popular "chalk board" look that uses actual chalk! The background technique using stencils and embossing powder is really nice too. Check out the post for step by step instructions.
**Final Shameless plug alert** I also have some exciting news for me! I
was chosen as one of 12 finalists for the Sizzix Who Are You? contest.
The choice for the final winner is up for a vote! I humbly ask
that you check out the contest and vote for me. ;-) Mine is #7, the
flower wreath (which you can learn about here). Here is the contest link. Thank you for your consideration, voting ends the 26th!
You can find most of the supplies I used to create these at Inspiration Emporium. Follow the links below and use my code JUICE to save 10% if you go shopping. Thanks!
