Favorite Eileen Hull Projects…

Eileen Hull Favorites Sale

This weekend, Sizzix is having a big sale on Eileen Hull's dies! I've rounded up some favorite projects of mine from the past few years (it was hard to choose!!) for your viewing pleasure. Now would be a perfect time to fill out your Eileen collection. There are some good deals to be had, just sayin'. ;-) Follow each project link below to go back to the original post with tutorial and full supply lists.

# 1 super favorite project! My 'Finding Atlantis' Steampunk mini journal using the Passport Book Die is hands down my favorite project. I had so much fun making it and it combines two of my favorite subjects – steampunk and the ocean. Be sure to check out the original post, there are LOTS of photos there.

I hate to play favorites too much with my babies so the rest of these are in no particular order lol.

#2 – Mixed Media ATC album  This is another Passport Book project (this die is very versatile & a favorite among the team). Original post is HERE.

#3 – Spring themed tea party favor  Think Easter, Mother's Day, baby and bridal showers. I used the 3-D Teacup Die and a few others. Original post and tutorial HERE.

#4 – sewing themed decor  This little canvas is chock full of vintage and sewing themed touches. Featuring the Embroidery Hoop, I also used lots of Stitchlits dies to easily add the stitched accents. Original post and tutorial HERE.

Bonus tidbit: the two little girls are my great aunts!

#5 – Jewelry Gift Boxes  The Cookie Box Die is one of my absolute favorite Eilleen Hull dies and I have used it on so many projects. These little gift boxes are one of my favorites. They look hard but they are actually quite easy to put together! Tutorial is HERE.

Whew! Well there are so many projects I would have liked to share but these five I really like and use some of my favorite and the most versatile dies. Thanks for stopping by! Some of the others on the Inspiration Team are also sharing a "favorites roundup" on their own blogs. These are the ones posting Friday:

Eileen Hull – New Heartfelt Collection Birthday Card

Hello! Eileen's new collection, Heartfelt, is soon to be in stores and all this month the Inspiration Team is sharing projects using it!

This is my last CHA project to share, I made a birthday card featuring Stitchlits dies old and new.

I'm not sure where all my step by step photos disappeared off to but it's pretty simple. The background is heavy cardstock that I embossed and then covered with a layer of Glue 'n Seal. Then I blended Distress Crayons over it to make a colorful base for all the stitched elements and butterflies. Stitchlits dies make it super easy to add stitching to your projects. The dies cut the holes and you just add the floss! I also added some stitched details to the butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by and a little birdie just told me that Sizzix is going to have a huge sale this weekend on Eileen's dies. Wow! It would be a great chance to stock up! Better check it out. ;-)

The supplies I used for this project can be found at Sizzix or Simon Says Stamp. Follow the links below and a shopping you may go!

I used the Karen Burniston Rectangle Accordion Die for the card base. Her dies always have a fun foldout or pop-up element to them. A surprise unfolds when you open this one:

I used lots of stencils and the gorgeous Couture Creations stamps to create the beach/underwater theme to the card. Everything came together and layered beautifully!
