Halloween Luminary

Fall is in the Air and that is the theme of the September challenge at Inspiration Journal. You can enter any sort of fall themed project and be in the running for a $50 gift credit to spend at Inspiration Emporium! For my fall themed project I decided to make a Halloween Luminary. It's been a few months since I'd made one so I was due:

I just love making little scenes to place them in. The base for this one is a 6.5 inch diameter circle of foam core board. I glued an inked up circle of cardstock on top of it and went from there. I used some old favorite dies and stamp sets, plus the new stamp set Halftone Halloween. I like its whimsy and I just love those cats! Here I stamped them on vellum and tucked them inside the luminary so the candlelight will glow through them. There is a separate stamp in the set for the cats' eyes so you can stamp them in their own color. Love it!

In more exciting Inspiration Emporium news, the new Design Team has been announced! Get ready for fabulous inspiration from faces new and old. We are going to have some serious eye candy in store for you. =)

I hope that you are ready to get creative too! Most of the supplies I used for this can be found at Inspiration Emporium. Follow the links below and use my code JUICE to save 10% if you go shopping. I will also point out that US shipping is always $5 and international shipping is just $10.

I am also entering this into the Eclectic Paperie September challenge.
