I missed the last Compendium of Curiosities challenge (hanging my head in shame), but I got it back together for #29! Linda Ledbetter over at the Studio L3 blog has been hosting these challenges based on Tim Holtz's book A Compendium of Curiosities Vol. 3 and they are always a blast. This challenge is the Eroded Metallic technique as shown on page 44 of the book. It is quite fun and you can use all sorts of color combos. I created a Father's Day card and two matching ATCs ('cause I'm completely addicted to them now).
and the ATC's:

ReplyDeleteLisa...your eroded metallic technique backgrounds are fantastic! Talk about great blends of colors and technique! Wow! I absolutely LOVE the steampunkish card that you've created using that gorgeous eroded background and the rays embossed images. Very cool. Love the paper you used to mat the tag and that beautifully colored hot air balloon. What a fabulous Father's Day card and the two matching ATCs are equally as perfectly done. Thanks for sharing with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
