Hocus Pocus Halloween Card with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Fall/Halloween". The season is definitely changing around here! I opted for a Halloween themed card. Topflight Stamps has recently begun carrying mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang and I wanted to make another card using them. (See last week's fall card.) 

I used a Lavinia stencil (Laurel) to apply glow texture paste to a thick multi-media cardstock. When it was dry, I spritzed it with Smoky Sapphire Moon Shadow Mist and water. I loved how it pooled around the texture paste leaves. I also splattered it with some metallic purple acrylic paint. I layered fussy cut mushrooms (Hobby Art stamp set - Fungi), cheesecloth and die cut leaves (AALL & Create die set - Rustling Retreat) over the background.

It glows in the dark! So cool!

Think Spring with Topflight Stamps

Hello, I'm back with another Topflight Stamps project for you! This week's theme is "Spring/Mother's Day". I created a pair of cards to give to my Mom and Mother-in-law next month.

I stamped Summer Meadow using embossing ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder to form a resist. Then I blended Lavinia ink over the image and also added some Lavinia Dinkles Ink Powder around the edges. Stenciling and die cutting finished it off.

Fairy Shaker Card with AALL & Create Dies

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our product focus is on AALL & Create Dies. Topflight Stamps carries a wide selection of these fun, quirky mix & match die sets! I decided to create a shaker card using a few different sets.

The card background is composed of various Lavinia stamps (Rue, Trailing Ivy, Forest Spruce). I also incorporated flower and leaf die cuts from the Garden Grace #55 and Rustling Retreat #54 sets. The black frame shape is from Skycrossed Paradise #34.

It's All About Paint! – Mixed Media with Topflight Stamps

This week our Topflight Stamps theme is Paint which is a go to supply to have in your stash! Topflight Stamps carries a variety of paint for your creative enjoyment. Lavinia and PaperArtsy create some of my favorite acrylic paints (you can stamp on them so easily) and I've used both in my mixed media card below:

The background is a collage of aluminum metal pieces stuck onto cardstock and then painted over with Thistle Mist paint. (TIP: wipe down the metal tape with rubbing alcohol before painting to remove any residue.) Once it was dry, I lightly sanded it to remove some of the paint and reveal the metal. Cool! More paint through a stencil and stamping with permanent ink added more visual texture.

Over the background I added a tag cut from cardstock and a Gel Press print. More die cut bits and a focal image (PaperArtsy LPM13) finished it off!

I loved this Frogs stamp set from Katzelkraft and had to make them the stars of this birthday card. They are so cute! The background I created using a round Gel Press plate and Lavinia inks. (Lavinia Elements inks work really well on the Gel Press plates!)
