Welcome to September! This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is Anything Goes. I decided to dig through my box of scraps (you guys keep little scraps of paper "just in case" too right? right?) to make a collage. Can't let those good bits go to waste! ;-) I added stamped elements from PaperArtsy stamp sets to the collage and used a Gel Press print for the background.

Brand Focus on PaperArtsy with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our brand focus is on PaperArtsy. I have to admit, PaperArtsy is one of my favorite brands! I appreciate that they have such a variety of styles showcased by their different designers. For this card, I chose stamps and a stencil from Mags Woodcock.

I glued some torn pieces of Gel Press prints onto the card base for the background. Over that I stamped and stenciled to add to the collage. (Mags Woodcock sets EMW006 and PS517) I also fussy cut some stamped/watercolored flowers to add and attached them with glue and vintage cello tape stickers.

In the Garden with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is Anything Goes! I was inspired by the Woodware stamp set Garden Wellies to make this cute garden themed card.

The background was created with Lavinia Dinkles ink powders. I used flowers from the PaperArtsy Tracy Scott stamp set #24 to stamp over the background and then layered on fussy cut stamped images from the Garden Wellies set.

Under the Sea with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Beach/Ocean". This is always a fun theme that puts me in a summer mood! I used a variety of stamps and stencils to bring my "under the sea" card to life.

The base is a round Gel Press print I made using Lavinia Elements inks and the Coral stencil. Over that I layered 7 Seas washi tape and used the Under the Sea stencil to add some fish. Lastly, I stamped and watercolored the super fun fish from Kate Crane's Mini 007 stamp, then fussy cut them out. So cute!

Anything Goes! PaperArtsy Mixed Media Card with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is Anything Goes! My sewing machine is out so I thought I'd make a mixed media card with a scrappy fabric base.

First I sprayed some strips of plain muslin fabric using Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist - Smoky Sapphire. When it was dry, I tore it into strips and stitched them onto the card base. I also stenciled onto the background with Parisian blue paint, then stitched on my focal image from the Lynne Perrella 71 stamp set.

Fresh Fish Card with PaperArtsy & Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our brand focus is on PaperArtsy! I chose to use two cool sets from designer Gwen Lafleur, EGL28 and EGL15.

First I spritzed a sheet of Dura-Lar acetate film with Lindy's Time Travel Teal spray and water and let it dry overnight. Then I cut a base layer from a blue Gel Press print and stamped on with the EGL28 stamp set. I layered cut pieces of the Dura-Lar over the background with the fussy cut fish. I used my sewing machine and a long stitch to sew it all together.

Mother's Day Cards with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Mother's Day/Spring".  I decided to make cards for my Mom and Mother-in-law. I'm all set now for May 10th!

For the background I used a Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical Shakers set - Under the Sea #2. (I wanted to play with them more, so pretty!) I stamped over the backgrounds and colored in the flowers with paint pens.

I made the background using Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and Magical Shakers (ink crystals). I love the colors and bit of glimmer in them. I cut the clouds out of a Gel Press print from my stash and the fussy cut PaperArtsy bird stamp has been watercolored.

Christmas is Coming with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Christmas". If you like to have handmade cards to send out in December, it's not too early to start making them! (Check out the Christmas/Winter category in the store.)

I love the vintage look of the PaperArtsy Hot Picks Xmas 10 stamp set. I used them to create the stamped background. I also fussy cut the stamped car image out and popped it out with some foam adhesive squares behind it. Green embossing powder on the tree added some nice contrast.

Mixed Media Card Fun with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes". I decided to have some mixed media fun with this card.

The card base is a Gel Press print and I collaged some scraps of handmade paper over the top. PaperArtsy has some great texture mini stamps and I used those to stamp over the collage for visual texture. For physical texture, I used black paste through the X Background mask and sprinkled parts of it with WOW! embossing powder while it was wet (and embossed it when dry). It's all about the layers!

Collage Fodder with PaperArtsy & Topflight Stamps

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes". I was in a mixed media/collage mood so I created some collage fodder stamps using PaperArtsy Fresco Paint, stamps and ephemera. These little guys are so much fun to make!

The background is a page from a book that I had used as a brayer clean off paper during gel printing. I layered snippets of Japanese patterned paper and postage stamps onto it and then stamped over it with the Lynne Perrella stamp set.

Pink & Red = Valentine Cards with Topflight Stamps

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our theme is all about using the colors Red & Pink so I'm back with another Valentine card to share! (Check out the large selection of Love themed stamps and stencils in the store.) I had some more stencil fun on this card. (Stencils are on SALE through the end of the month!)

I laid the Studio Light Stencil Grungy Hearts onto a sheet of red card stock and then sprayed it all over with Pinkella Mysticals Mist. It has a more subtle appearance that springs into view when the light hits the shine. It make a great background for various tags cut out of different pieces of cardstock (Regency Bunting #44 and Tag Mini Album Die Sets).

The little cat is the PaperArtsy Zinis Stamp ZN35. I watercolored and fussy cut it out.

Getting Creative in 2025 with Topflight Stamps

Welcome 2025! I can't believe it's the start of a new year already. Hopefully you all have had a joyful and creative holiday season. I always find myself in need of some thank you cards this time of year so I made a set as my project for the week:

I kept it simple – a few background stamps for visual texture and pieces of gorgeous AALL & Create Washi tape (Priority Dispatch). My goal is to send off my Christmas thank you notes by the end of the week.
