Halloween with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Fall/Halloween" and I'm back with another card to share.

I stamped onto metallic card stock with WOW! embossing ink and the Lavinia Fairy Web stamp – then heat embossed with black embossing powder. The main card panel features more stamping with the Fairy Web stamp plus the jack-o-lantern focal image from the Woodware Carved Pumpkin stamp set.

Hocus Pocus Halloween Card with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Fall/Halloween". The season is definitely changing around here! I opted for a Halloween themed card. Topflight Stamps has recently begun carrying mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang and I wanted to make another card using them. (See last week's fall card.) 

I used a Lavinia stencil (Laurel) to apply glow texture paste to a thick multi-media cardstock. When it was dry, I spritzed it with Smoky Sapphire Moon Shadow Mist and water. I loved how it pooled around the texture paste leaves. I also splattered it with some metallic purple acrylic paint. I layered fussy cut mushrooms (Hobby Art stamp set - Fungi), cheesecloth and die cut leaves (AALL & Create die set - Rustling Retreat) over the background.

It glows in the dark! So cool!

Feeling Fall Mixed Media Card with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes" again. Topflight Stamps has recently begun carrying mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang and I had to try them out! I am also looking forward to the arrival of fall so I decided to make a mixed media card fitting that theme.

I used a Darkroom Door stencil (Carved Leaves) to apply texture paste to a thick multi-media cardstock. When it was dry, I spritzed it with Gossamer Gold Moon Shadow Mist and water. I loved how it pooled around the texture paste leaves. The glimmer is so cool! I added a little bit of red ink too to add to the fall vibe.

Home Sweet Home – Eileen Hull's New Sizzix Collection

Hello Eileen Hull fans! Wait until you get a close look at this new collection during the Release Party! It is so much fun and you will be amazed at all the projects made by the Creative Team.

Here is what Eileen has to say about her new collection:

This collection was inspired by nature and the cozy feeling of home. It was designed to coordinate with the Handbound Journal (sold separately) to create a tunnel book, but each die set also stands beautifully on its own and can be used in so many creative ways!

Lacy Leaves Embossing Folder
A bold, intricate lacy pattern measuring 6” x 8 ½”—perfectly sized for journal covers and cards. This design was inspired by an actual piece of lace from my collection that reminded me of leaves. I love the mix of nature and lace! Whether you emboss or deboss the pattern, the result is simply beautiful.

Home Sweet Home Die Set
This 24-piece set includes layered forest animals (deer, fox, bunny, squirrel, and butterflies), pine trees, grassy hills, greenery, clouds, sun, moon, and a cozy house. The sweet deer alone makes this set worth it! Perfect for holiday projects, baby themes, everyday cards, journals, and tags.

Windowsill Flowers & Vase
A 13-die set designed to coordinate with the Tunnel Arches. The window die matches the largest arch, letting you build a 3D scene that looks as though you’re peering through a window. The tiny vase and flowers (yes, I had to make them that small for scale!) are wonderful for using scraps. The little lacy piece also makes a lovely accent for junk journal pockets and cards.

Who knew arches could be so versatile? Make a rainbow! Use the negative cuts to create graduated windows in journals, cards, and home décor, or the positive pieces as card bases and tags—nothing goes to waste! This 7-die nesting set ranges in size from 4 ½” x 3 ¼” down to teeny-tiny (so cute!). They were designed to fit perfectly inside the Handbound Journal if you’d like to try your hand at a tunnel book. Mixed Media Card Fun with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes". I decided to have some mixed media fun with this card.

The card base is a Gel Press print and I collaged some scraps of handmade paper over the top. PaperArtsy has some great texture mini stamps and I used those to stamp over the collage for visual texture. For physical texture, I used black paste through the X Background mask and sprinkled parts of it with WOW! embossing powder while it was wet (and embossed it when dry). It's all about the layers!

Mix & Match in August with Eileen Hull

Hello Eileen Hull fans! This month Eileen Hull's Creative Team has been "mixing and matching" Eileen's old and new dies and other products. It's always fun to pull out old favorites. I used her Field Notes & Specimen Card journal die to cut the card bases out of old wallpaper scraps and then collaged on top of them.

Get Outdoors with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Outdoors". I created a pair of cards using these lovely Crafty Individuals stamps (Dawn Whispers and Portrait Patterned Landscape).

        

After stamping the images onto mixed media cardstock, I watercolored them, then layered them over some handmade paper for some natural texture.

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes". I created a card using the Quirky Post AALL & Create Die Set and various Katzelkraft stamps. (I love that Robot Cat stamp!)

The card base is a Gel Press print that I stamped with the Circuit stamp and embossed with gold. I stamped and watercolored the robot cat, then fussy cut it out to add to the card.

IndigoBlu Steampunk Card with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our brand focus is on IndigoBlu. I created a Steampunk themed card set using the new Steam Cottage stamp for the focal image. It has such great detail!

I cut the card base using the Counting Circles die set and added some gears I cut with a Paper Rose set. I raided my handy stash of Gel Press prints to use as a bottom layer on the front.

Chou & Flowers Stenciled Cards with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our brand focus is on Chou & Flowers. (Plus there is a sale for the Christmas/Winter category that is still running through the end of the month!) I created a card set using the Flowers stencil from them. I used both regular and crackle texture paste through the stencil, then sprinkled the wet paste with WOW! embossing powder from the Sara Naumann Twinkly Fizz set. When the paste was dry, I heat embossed it. I love the sparkle!

Eileen Hull Embossed Card Set

Hello Eileen Hull fans! This month Eileen Hull's Creative Team is focusing on creating projects using her embossing folders plus her other great products. I have a whole pile of backgrounds I made using Eileen's embossing folders and I wanted to think of a way I could use a bunch of them. This card set is what I came up with…

I mixed and matched strips cut from the embossed backgrounds and arranged them onto the card bases. The sentiment pieces were cut using the Handbound Journal Die and the sentiments came from Eileen's Fan Favorites Stamp Set. This is a great way to use up those little bits and pieces we can't bear to get rid of. (I'm not the only one right?)

Welcome to July! This month Eileen Hull's Creative Team is focusing on creating projects using her embossing folders plus her other great products. I created a "snippet roll" album. It's a cross between a typical snippet roll and a journal. It was a lot of fun to make! Of course I included many "snippets" of embossed papers, along with lace, fabric, buttons and embroidery.
