Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2016 - March as ATCs
Hello! Wow, where did March go? I'm cutting it close with my March Tim tag project. ;-) I decided to make ATCs using the techniques from his tag (see the tutorials on his blog). I can always use more ATCs, my trading group is an insatiable lot lol.
The butterfly card adheres more closely to Tim's adaptation, but I diverged from it more with the seahorse card. I'm very happy with both though and I'm also having fun playing with the Distress Crayons!
I'm also going to submit this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Ranger focus.
Thanks for stopping by! The supplies I used for this project can be found at Sizzix or Simon Says Stamp. Follow the links below and a shopping you may go. ;-)

Tim Holtz's Tags of 2016 – February
Hello there! Once again Tim has mashed up two tags from previous years and combined them into a fabulous new look.
I took the two techniques he was focusing on and mashed them up my own way. My Dad turned 70 and I wanted to make him a special birthday card. Here is my version:
I made the card out of two jumbo #12 manila tags. That gave me plenty of room to play and I could incorporate one of the large Found Relatives cards. I used copper embossing powder instead of gold and of course had fun fiddling around with my collection of doo-dads to find just the right embellishments.
Be sure to check out Tim's post to find out all the details and instructions to make your own monthly mashup! Thanks for stopping by. The supplies I used for this project can be found at Sizzix or Simon Says Stamp. Follow the links below and a shopping you may go. ;-)

Tim Holtz - Tags of 2016, January
Howdy all! Tim Holtz is at it again with a new series of monthly tags for 2016. This year he is changing it up a bit and doing what he calls "technique remixes". Taking two tags from past years, he creates a mashup of the techniques from those months and makes a brand new look from them. This is January's:
I decided to make mine a card for my hubby's birthday (since I needed a card for him lol.) I also made an ATC because I'm pretty much addicted to making them now. ;-)
I used the techniques as described in Tim's post but adapted them to fit my chosen formats. I'm happy with how they turned out. Any project that you can use gears on is a fun one!
