Compendium of Curiousities 2 challenge #25!

I'm doing pretty well; two weeks in a row! This week the challenge on Linda's blog, Studio L3, was from Tim Holtz's book, A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. 2, page 53. It involves Perfect Pearls - love that stuff, there is so much you can do with it! I made a card for some friends who have just had a little baby girl. What a blessing and congratulations to them! Here is the card:

The photo doesn't show the shimmery effect of the Perfect Pearls. It's painted  onto all the flower petals (looks great, trust me). This week the store Simon Says Stamp is kindly offering a prize to a lucky winner. Their site is - lots of fun stuff there. Thanks for looking and be sure to go to the Studio L3 blog to see all the great projects linked up for this challenge.

  1. Love the way you have added your sentiment here. Hugs, Buttons x

  2. What a sweet card! I love the composition and the colors you used. It shows that not every baby card has to be pink or blue! So thoughtful of you to take the time to make this for your friends!

  3. Missed this one...sorry. Love the stark white and then the flourishes and flowers just popping off the card! The precious written along the line is wonderful! Great sheen on the butterfly as well! Beautiful!

  4. this is so pretty!!! adorable card!!! gorgeous coloring!! =)
