Punny Valentines for the 14th with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes". I'm still going to town with the Valentine theme so I created a set of "punny" valentines like the kind you used to hand out to your grade school classmates. I'm amused by all the goofy puns on those vintage valentines so I made up some of my own to pair with the funny Katzelkraft stamp images.

To make these, I first made some masterboards to chop up for the backgrounds. I layered ink sprays, stamping and washi tape (AALL & Create #52 Blush) and used watercolor paper for the substrate.

Using both the Holey Fun and Quirky Post AALL & Create die sets, I cut the inner sections from the masterboards and a backing of plain red cardstock. I stamped various Katzelkraft animal stamps onto separate paper, watercolored them and then fussy cut them out. My whole family contributed to brainstorming the punny sentiments which I printed out using my computer. It was fun!

Love is in the Air with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Pink & Red" which of course is perfect for making valentines!

The base is a background made with various pink inks and Maple Crimson Starburst Spray from the Autumn Leaves Lindy's Stamp Gang set. I used a mask (stencil) from Studio Light to make a monoprint of hearts over the inky background. I couldn't resist pulling out a Katzelkraft dragon stamp (love that derpy little guy) to use for my focal image.

Mixed Media Fun with Topflight Stamps

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Mixed Media". (Always lots of fun!) Topflight Stamps carries all sorts of media and tools for your own mixed media adventures.

I applied texture paste through the AALL & Create #100 Nodes over an inky background. Once it was dry, I spritzed and splattered it with Lindy's Smoky Sapphire and Autumn Leaves mists. I also used Winter Green Fresco paint through the PaperArtsy PM025 mini stencil. The owls I stamped, watercolored and fussy cut (from Katzelkraft set KTZ237). Paired with Funny Bone Funnies sentiment strips for a funny snarky card. ;-)

Snarky Cat Bookmarks with Topflight Stamps

Our Topflight Stamps theme is "Anything Goes" this week. I was in the mood to make something humorous so I turned to a favorite stamp set, the Katzelkraft Cats. They never fail to make me smile!

I paired them with the AALL & Create Funny Bone Funnies sentiments and made a set of laminated bookmarks.

This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes". I created a card using the Quirky Post AALL & Create Die Set and various Katzelkraft stamps. (I love that Robot Cat stamp!)

The card base is a Gel Press print that I stamped with the Circuit stamp and embossed with gold. I stamped and watercolored the robot cat, then fussy cut it out to add to the card.

New Baby Card with Topflight Stamp

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes"! I made a "congratulations on your new baby" card to send off to my cousin. =) 

I stamped onto the background of marbled paper with the Summer Meadow stamp and then fussy cut a stamped image from Katzelkraft to layer over it. The sentiment is from the AALL & Create Everyday Sentiments stamp set.

Stars & Cats with Topflight Stamp

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Stars"! The store has a wide assortment of products that fit the bill. I chose a fun AALL & Create Stencil called Stars & Rays to use on my card. My favorite Katzelkraft stamp set, Cats, also makes an appearance.

I stenciled the background onto a Gel Press print with acrylic paint and then fussy cut a stamped image from the Cats set to layer over it. The Funny Bone Funnies sentiment certainly adds a humorous touch!

Getting Crazy with Katzelkraft & Topflight Stamps

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our brand focus is on Katzelkraft. I love the variety of design styles they have and this quirky Owls is a new favorite! I used it in creating a funny mixed media card:

The background is a gel print from my print stash. I used the AALL & Create Olives & Ivy Stencil and texture paste to make a pattern over that. I added some Sea Salt Embossing Powder to the paste while it was wet. When dry, I heat embossed the powder. I also used some of the ready to go AALL & Create Ephemera Funny Bone Funnies #49. They are so handy and a fun way to add some snark to your project.

There Was a Slight Mishap – Birthday Card with Topflight Stamps

Robot Cats, Mixed Media and Birthday Cards with Topflight Stamps

Hello, I have a Topflight Stamps card for you! This week's brand focus is on Katzelkraft. I used the Katzelkraft stamp sets Holiday Quotes, Robot Cat and Electrical Circuit to make a birthday card for my husband. 

I stamped Electrical Circuit on a gel print background with embossing ink, then embossed with WOW! Sea Salt embossing powder. The Robot Cat I stamped on other paper, painted it with watercolors and then fussy cut it out. It's popped up on a mini wobbler so it has some fun "action" when you shake the card.

Anniversary Card with Topflight Stamps

Hello, I'm back with another Topflight Stamps card for you! This week's theme is "Anything Goes". I used the Katzelkraft stamp sets Holiday Quotes and Frogs to make an anniversary card for my parents. The die set I used is Regency Bunting from AALL & Create.

I stamped everything on a gel print background with permanent inks. I added all the little die cut banners at the top of the card and machine stitched across the top of them to hold them in place.

Getting a Start on Christmas Cards with Topflight Stamps

Mixed Media + Halloween with Topflight Stamps

Hello, this week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Mixed Media". I love using "all the things" so this is right up my alley! I'm in Halloween crafting mode so I chose to make an appropriately themed card.

The background is a Gel Press print to which I applied texture paste through a PaperArtsy Mini Stencil, then sprinkled with Oiled Slate WOW Embossing Powder. Once the paste was dry, I heat embossed the powder. I layered on die cuts, fussy cut Katzelkraft stamped images and fabric.
